TROPHEE ROSES DES SABLES 2008
The Roses des Sables Trophy is a competition exclusively for women. The goal is to win the day's stage with a road book, map and compass, respecting the different controls passage (CP).
The 8th edition has been marked by exceptional weather in this region of Morocco (storm, rain, thunderstorms, hail, ... in the desert!)

Paimpol Coco fete
The coco de Paimpol is a semi-dry bean easily recognizable by its yellow dress and straw its small mottled purple.
His culinary skills have justified the award of the first appellation of origin awarded to a fresh vegetable in 1998.
In the year 2008, therefore it celebrates its 10 years of name, and despite the rain, many people have shared good times on the port of Paimpol.

ÉTOILE DE FRANCE
Construite en 1938 sous le nom de "Jutlendia". Elle transporte dans sa première vie du sel et de la morue entre l'Islande, le Danemark et le Portugal. A partir de 1971, elle devient successivement navire-école puis bateau de croisière et support de tournages de films dont "Harry Potter".

MARINE NATIONALE : LAPÉROUSE
Le bâtiment hydrographique de deuxième classe (BH) Lapérouse a été construit par la Direction des Constructions Navales à Lorient. Sur cale le 11 juin 1985, lancé le 15 novembre 1986, il a été admis au service actif le 20 avril 1988 au sein de la flotte du Service Hydrographique et Océanographique de la Marine (SHOM).

JOURNÉE DU PATRIMOINE DE PAYS ET DES MOULINS 2008
Chaque année, à l’occasion de la journée du patrimoine de pays et des moulins, Gilles Malégol, artisan maçon spécialisé dans les techniques anciennes de construction et de restauration à l’identique ouvre les portes de son moulin à Berhet.

MOULIN DE CRECH OLEN
Depuis 2002, ce moulin a été rénové par l'association ASPP (Association pour la sauvegarde du patrimoine de Ploulec'h) et est désormais fonctionnel. Ses ailes ont une envergure de 12,50 mètres et pèsent 1500 Kg. Elles peuvent tourner à la vitesse de 15 à 20 tours/minute.

FÊTE DU LAIT BIO 2008
Encore un joli succès pour la Fête du Lait bio ! Cette année, plus de 5000 personnes ont petit-déjeuné bio dans les 25 fermes qui ouvraient leurs portes pour cette quatrième édition. Au total, plus de 7000 visiteurs ont participé aux animations proposées.

PARDON DE SAINT YVES 2008
Dimanche 18 mai en la cathédrale de Tréguier, 10 000 fidèles ont prié et chanté à la gloire du Saint-patron des avocats et de l'ami des pauvres. Cette ferveur populaire fait du pardon de Saint-Yves l'un des plus suivis en Bretagne.

MUSÉE DE L'ÉPHÉMÉRE - L'ART DÉ-TOUR-NÉ
Nadine Thouvenin est une agitatrice d'idées. Elle n'en manque jamais pour faire vivre la ville et ouvrir les portes. Son dernier projet en date, qui n'est pas le moins dingue, consiste à occuper une tour, bientôt déconstruite, d'un quartier de Lorient, et de transformer ses appartements en lieux d'exposition.
